The Changeling of the Third Reich · Book VI: Out of the Flames
When Tragedy Sidelines the Perfect Holiday Plans, Will Hope Take a Back Seat?
As 1969 draws to a close, despite being plagued by nightmares of horrors past, Dr. Bridget Castle is excited to create a magical Christmas for her newly adopted daughter, much like the first Christmas she experienced when she was adopted after being liberated from a concentration camp following World War II. However, the best laid plans are often interrupted when life gets in the way.
After Bridget's husband is unexpectedly called out of town, she and her daughter dive into the holiday spirit with good cheer. But when their home catches fire with them inside, her priorities shift from celebration to survival. Worse yet, with a shady stranger lurking around her property, she's convinced she's the target of arson. Will Bridget be strong enough to carry on when life threatens to take away everything and everyone she holds dear?
